Johann Fischer (1919 - 2008) was active/lived in Austria.  Johann Fischer is known for Paintings.

Johann Fischer was born into an Austrian farming family of seven children on October 5th 1919. Fischer trained as a baker. He was conscripted into the German Army in 1940. Fischer was captured by American troops and then released in 1946. Johann began psychiatric treatment in 1957, and was committed to Klosterneuburg Hospital in 1961. He was a resident Haus der Künstler (House of Artists) at the Maria Gugging Psychiatric Clinic. Johann Fischer passed away in Gugging, Austria in 2008.
